I recently watched the film ‘About Time’ – I love the concept of time travel and this is one of my favourites.time-800399_640

It had the usual themes of regret and the desire to go back do things differently – which haunt us all at times – but what really struck me was the father’s advice to his son to live each day twice: once normally, and then to go back again to really notice everything – if only we could do this for real, eh?

Ultimately, the message I took away was, simply, to notice life as it happens as much as possible – to savour moments, places and people – and to enjoy ourselves as much as we can in the here and now.
